Please Note: The Hampton Development MCart is not to be confused with a relatively new shopping cart system with the same name that has recently surfaced. It is not related in any way. MCart was a name attached to the system process created by Hampton Development and associated scripts as with UCart and WCart.

Shopping Cart Features
Intuitive cart order process offering flexibility of options to conform to a merchant's needs.
Optional front page popup for featured product as well as select primary and secondary products posted on main store and site pages.
Multiple combinations of discounts and coupons can be applied, globally or by product categories.
Gift Card / Certificate Management Module. Gift certificates can be set to be redeemed at location, web or both. Book keeping scripts run filtering and balancing the web redeemed gift certificates automatically. Full admin and notification modules. You approve the awaiting web certificates and they move to an active zone and the balancing begins. Customer receives notification upon approval or you may notify them of running balance at any time. They enter their codes on the shipping location cart page.
Flyout product menus a product list directories are generated nightly following your product category selections currently up to 10 levels. As you add, edit and delete products your site navigation will adapt to your choices automatically each day.

Customers can sign up for instant access to review their order status, track if shipped as well as the complete account order and tracking history. In addition a useful information base for shipping, taxes, policies, privacy and contact information.
Product Inquiries? Customers interested in a product but need more information simply click the Product Inquiry button on the product order page. Important product information is passed to your site contact form so there is no guessing which item is in question.
Members / Wholesale area as a standard install. With a gateway administration you control who and who does not access your members area. Product discounts set for your members from your product administration as per item. Global discounts can also be set. Password retrieval for members. Member built opt-in email list and mailing application. Member's profile adminstration.
Choice of two affiliate referral modules. Within member's area an affiliate may sign up and/or view their earning statistics. Affiliates can refer by either link from their site and integrated dealer zip search if desired or by their zip code.
When a member signs up for member's area access which is a standard setup for our on-line store, their data is propagated and cued to be added to the zip code dealers database for easy import, you choose who is added.
Member's affiliate referral code is disabled in the member's are so that any product discounts applied will not have additional referral rates applied to their account.
Affiliate representatives are set by the merchant and if desired an earning rate applied, then affiliates are added through the member's area immediately upon access approval.
Product thumbnails are posted to invoice and order process.

Shopping Cart Order Payment Methods, Shipping, Taxes and Invoicing
Processes discounts, category discounts, and coupons.
Discounts can be applied automatically after a completed purchase for customer's next purchase for both or either retail and members/wholesale. Discount cost factor will time out after a set period of time at merchant's request.
Interfaces with pay gateways and PayPal. Verisign PayFlow, Certified with BluePay Web Link, Authorize.net and others.
MCart may optionally be switched off at anytime to process payment directly through PayPal Merchant Services Shopping Cart. PayPal offers processing of credit cards as an option in which does not require a merchant account. MCart integrates with PayPal, but as an option of using PayPal's credit card gateway processing it can be instantly switched over.
Complex shipping and tax configurations, UPS real time quoted rates or UPS simulated rate schedule applied at setup. Simulated rates reflect by weight, East and West, using the Mississippi as the dividing border. USPS module also available.
Shipping and UPS/USPS/FedEx Tracking Notification Module with Mulitiple Custom Responders, more may be created upon request for various shipping methods. Add a tracking number if available and send. Two clicks gives the customer complete information concerning their order being shipped with tracking information. Tracking sends links in notifications for shipping status at UPS and FedEx. Current notification responders support - UPS, FedEx, USPS, Freight, Pack Ship USA and Order Status / Updates. Module also supports back orders.
UPS shipping table for east / west calculations setup as default. Mississippi river as dividing line. All additions, altered, voided as needed.
Invoices are published to web accessible to customer and persist for 30 or set days which can be removed manually by a script or set to run automatically daily to remove outdated invoices. Credit card data is removed by merchant from secure order reader at the time transaction is processed.
Saves invoices, billing and other order data to MySQL tables which can be downloaded by merchant and imported directly to MS Access or Excel.

Product Management
Category Management Module. You add your own category stucture and product menu flyout navigation, drill down catalog and store list scripts update automatically as you apply product to your database.
Complete browser based product and site administration with extensive help menus. If you have an existing database that can also be easily setup to work with the cart and administration.
Several product management scripts are available to help locate and manage products with various attributes. These applications are available as standard with more additions in the future. Updates and upgrades are always in the works and available.
Product image upload scripts upload, rename and add to product profile in one very quick process. Other methods also installed for bulk product image upload including ftp access.
Many additional scripts to locate products to edit, suspend products and delete quickly.
Versatile product sales options are determined by data input which can fit about any scheme.
Four primary selectable product options; size, color, option a and option b with many fields for each. More added as needed. These are posted dynamically determined by product input data.
Overriding select options that alter price by choice supports both retail and members/wholesale. Shipping weight can also be applied to each selection for clients using shipping weight table calculations.
Ability to suspend product from public viewing without removing product from database.
Supports product cross selling, both manually appointing and randomly by LIKE categories.
With the input of many merchants our administration and cart will adapt to about any sales scenario.

Supports affiliates with the affiliate module. Manage affiliates with detailed sales and payment records. You set affiliate percentages as well as any discounts for their customers if desired. Either allow affiliates to apply publically or manage privately through a password protected administration.

Databases are backed up automatically nightly or monthly and stored to a backup directory within your password protected administration. Databases are also backed up on the 1st, 10th and 20th of each month in addition to nightly backups which are overwritten daily.
Orphaned product images are moved to a trash directory monthly. When you delete a product off your database (not suspend) these applications move associated product images to a recycle/trash area automatically. Then if desired they can be deleted monthly automatically or deleted by browser. These scripts will remove images that have been moved beyond 30 days. This gives you a grace period to recover with access provided to directory by ftp.
Coming Soon.. Inventory Control! An application will run nightly or as often as needed to update available product quantities. Once quantities deplete to a given threshold by merchant an email notification will be sent to merchant alerting to re-order with product details. Optionally the store can post availability status, ie: Low Quantities, Out of Stock etc. If you desire it can also suspend products that are out of stock and you can either bring product back when quantities are available or delete. All suspened products are listed from an application in the site administration for easy editing. This application will be complete optional to merchant.
